Another sunny afternoon

So currently working on some motifs for an embroidery piece. Really enjoying focusing on just single drawings, rather than concentrating on the wider picture; the repeat. I am of course including my beloved feathers, but in a new way and i think the ever so new flowers are creeping their way in which is always nice. Ah bliss, Bombay Bicycle club, sunny afternoon and drawing...

I have been working on some prints specifically for interiors as of late, really focusing on a different style... more colour! See what you think...

Spring Fair

So this weekend is the exciting launch of new brand 'Ruby South', Seek unique's first printed collection, and my first commercial collection. The new collection consists of three hand drawn designs inspired by all things British... Strawberries, Birds on telephone wires in the morning and British fashion in the form of bows. Here is a little preview of some of the designs.^^^

The launch takes place this Sunday at the Spring fair, NEC Birmingham!

Apologies for the terrible lack of blogging, i'm afraid blogspot has been neglected as of late due to the making of my website www.kateharding.co.uk and of course the impending deadline of doom...

So here are some of my finished prints for the collection, 'Picnic by the roadside'...
